Summer in Andalucía is fantastic, so we encourage everyone to make this into a vacation and stay on for a while after the wedding.

We recommend that you fly to Málaga, which is 113kms, and 1hr40min drive from Gaucín.

OTHER TRANSPORT

There are buses from Málaga, Sevilla, and Madrid to Ronda. From Ronda you can take a train or bus to Gaucín.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Many cars in Europe use diesel fuel- check before filling yours! You can check out viamichelin.com for driving directions within Spain.

To the town of Gaucín from Málaga airport:
From the airport, follow signs for N-340 (also called E-15) to Cádiz. Keep following signs for Cádiz or Algeciras. When the road splits, keep left on AP-7. This is a toll road, and you will have to pass through three toll booths (cost 9.20 EUR, credit card accepted) before reaching exit #142.

Just after you see windmills on the hill on the right, take exit #142 for Casares Manilva Gaucín. At the small circle take the third exit (so you are making a left) for Casares; this road is A377. From this point, Gaucín is about 27 km. The road is a bit bumpy and curvy so drive carefully. Continue on this road until you reach Gaucín (not long after the steepest switchbacks begin).

To Hacienda La Herriza (location of wedding and barbecue) from Gaucín:
When the road ends, turn left. At the stop sign (within 100m) you should see a petrol/diesel station across the road. Turn left onto A369. You will pass Hotel Caballo Andaluz on the left. After 2.4 km turn right at the sign for Colmenar. After 4.6km, the gate of Hacienda La Herriza will be on the right.

ACCOMODATIONS

Ya hemos reservado habitaciones en 4 hoteles por tres noches (el 21, 22 y 23 de junio) para todos. Entonces, no necesitan contactar a los hoteles si mismo para hacer una reserva. Les vamos a contactar en los siguientes meses para confirmar el número de noches que necesitarán. Las habitaciones costarán no más que 90E (más IVA) cada noche (para dos personas).

We have tentatively reserved rooms for everyone for 3 nights (June 21, 22, and 23) in 4 different hotels in Gaucín. Therefore, you don't need to worry about making your own booking. We will be contacting you in the future to find out exactly how many nights you want reserved. The rooms will cost no more than 90 Euros + 7% VAT a night for two people.
